ensembles

The opportunity to play in a group is an important part of music instruction and a valuable supplement to private lessons. Ensembles meet weekly, working on repertoire for community performances. Instrumentalists are welcome to join our ensembles whether or not they are also taking private lessons at Community Music School.

Community Music School offers four ensembles:

Serving Connecticut (CT) Middlesex County: Centerbrook, Essex, Chester, Deep River, Killingworth, Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Clinton, East Haddam, Haddam, Durham, East Hampton, Middletown, Middlefield, Cromwell, Portland, East Hampton. New London County: Old Lyme, Lyme, East Lyme, Waterford, Montville, Salem, Colchester. New Haven County: Madison, Guilford, Branford, Wallingford.
