Highlights of the season each summer are our very popular Broadway Bound theater camps. We produce two shows each summer in cooperation with the Westbrook Park & Recreation Department.
These two-week shows for ages 8-14 give your child the opportunity to experience every aspect of staging a musical. There are onstage and backstage roles for everyone, singing, dancing, acting, creating sets, assembling costumes, all in just 10 days! These shows are abridged, fully-licensed 70-80 minute presentations. You do not need to audition to participate.
Daily sessions run from 9:00-3:00 at Westbrook High School. Participants will receive an information packet describing the role-assignment process, costumes, what to bring, etc. The performance is the final Friday evening at 7 pm.
In order to give as many children a chance to participate as possible, we limit registration to one show only, although you may wait list for the other if you like. To avoid disappointment, you should plan to register early! These high-quality programs are also quite reasonably priced, adding to their popularity.
