Nancy Thomas
Kindermusik, Piano
Nancy Thomas has been a CMS faculty member since 1987, teaching piano and Kindermusik classes. Nancy received her BM from SUNY in Fredonia, and also studied at the Vienna Conservatory of Music. She has been a licensed Kindermusik educator since 1995.
Nancy is a piano teacher in both traditional and Suzuki methods at both CMS and in her private studio. She has been Suzuki-certified since 1981. In addition to teaching at CMS, Nancy is also an early childhood educator in area preschools and libraries, a church organist and the Director of Waterford’s “Senior Singers”.
After teaching at CMS for over 20 years, Nancy says that it has been a pleasure to explore music with so many families. It has also been fulfilling to see how so many children succeed in music after having an early introduction through the Kindermusik or Suzuki programs.
