“Where words fail, music speaks.”
- Hans Christian Anderson

"The joy of playing the piano, for me, is to find the tonality produced by the keys, alone or in combination.  I ask students to think of a color, a flavor, or the texture of a fabric when they play a phrase, and to allow the music to speak to them."
